Seb Kocsis

Seb is an experienced investor and operator with a background spanning large corporates to early-stage startups in the consumer sector. He takes a partnership-driven approach to supporting management and believes that long-term, patient capital is one of the best ways to align interests and build durable businesses.

 

He was a founding member of a single-family office investment firm, where he led the direct investment strategy and worked closely with a portfolio of founders and management teams. Prior to that, he was a member of Starbucks’ global corporate development team, focusing on M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships. Seb began his career in investment banking, most recently in Houlihan Lokey’s food & beverage M&A group.

 

Seb earned a degree in Economics and Anthropology from the University of British Columbia. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, skiing, hiking, cooking, and occasionally falling off surfboards—ideally onto soft sand.
