Ally Disterhoft

Prior to Ridgeline, Ally worked as an Investment Banking Analyst and Associate in the Consumer Retail Group at Barclays in New York, where she helped advise both established and emerging clients across various M&A, debt, and equity-related assignments. More specifically, during her time at Barclays, Ally served on the team that advised lululemon on its acquisition of MIRROR in 2020, while also helping Barclays to expand its coverage of early-stage companies across the disruptive food and beverage sectors.

Ally is originally from Iowa City, Iowa, and is a Hawkeye fan through and through, having competed on the University of Iowa women’s basketball team where she finished her career as the all-time leading scorer in program history (2,102 total points). During her career, Ally was also named an Academic All-American three times, winning the award during back-to-back seasons her junior and senior years – a feat which only five other Division 1 student-athletes had accomplished at the time (since the award’s inception in 1987).

While she jokes that her ‘glory days’ are now behind her, Ally continues to enjoy all things fitness-related, and has already started tackling Colorado’s long list of 14ers. When Ally isn’t at the office hard at work serving both current and future brand partners, you can find her on a run, listening to a broad assortment of podcasts, or exploring Denver’s diverse restaurant scene.
