Luke Vernon
Luke is a former entrepreneur and business operator. He knows how difficult it is to start and grow a business and has deep empathy for founders.
After starting his career in management consulting at Deloitte, Luke became the COO of Eco-Products where he was responsible for their global supply chain, marketing, ecommerce, sales, distribution, product development, and more. During his time there, he helped the company become the leading provider of sustainable food packaging in which it grew from $1 million to $80 million when the company was acquired by a strategic buyer. One of the most rewarding aspects of his time at Eco-Products was helping to create a work environment that people loved to be a part of.
After departing Eco-Products, Luke then founded Tribe West Ventures, a private investment firm, as a vehicle to incubate and acquire businesses. Luke is also the founder of Luke’s Circle, a job board that helps emerging companies find top talent.
Luke attended Cornell University for undergrad where he was a member of the men’s basketball team. He received his MBA from the University of Colorado and completed an entrepreneurial fellowship at Stanford’s Graduate School of Management. During his free time, he can be found traveling, camping, biking, skiing, coaching his kids teams, or doing other activities with wife and 3 kids.
